One Dreamy Gate … Love It!
All in all, the installation went perfectly. Despite hitting some rebar in a few spots (no way to help that), we got the track mounted and the gate rolled across it as smooth as polished steel.
The Gate of Their Dreams
Our latest build is an 18-foot driveway gate for a new house in one of Harlingen’s many growing subdivisions. We are super excited about wrapping this one up and seeing the finished product. Once powder coated, it’s going to blow us away. I just know it. It’s coming along so nicely!
Need to Brace a Winch in a Pinch?
Love meeting new customers and Jason with J & M Guns is great! He needed to brace his truck winch and you won’t believe how gorgeous it turned out.
Who Knew?!
After delivering the I-beams to the solar field, I thought I was done. Collected my check, cleaned up my yard, done. Who knew there would be more. No, not I-beams. Tools!
I-Beam Bonanza
Cutting and delivering these I-beams is the largest job we’ve done to date. I really hope we get more big jobs. I’m available. Call me!
Massive Candelabra
Custom details are in every inch of this beautiful six-foot candelabra. It weighs 71 pounds on its own but with the candles it’s a solid 79 pounds. It’s certainly no flimsy Amazon find from China! This is a solid, made in Texas, statement art piece that’s sure to enhance any room.
Back for Seconds: The Big Gate Gets Cut
Grab your grinders, boys! We’re going to cut it in half. Take two on the big gate. Here’s why …
No! We Do NOT Offer this Service, But …
We do NOT offer this service, but it turned out so perfect that I just had to share!
What’s in a Name?
We’ve put our name on the wall. We officially own our home. That’s not accurate, but our name on the wall with family pictures certainly helps make it feel like home.
Our First Harlingen Gate Frame
The day came and we loaded the massive 22’ gate into the cargo trailer. Our truck and trailer scarcely fit in the little back alley where Mr. A’s driveway is located. Taking up the entire narrow street, we unloaded the gate.
The Great Gate Update
The front gate entered the shop a rusty, crusty, rotting thing that was failing to do its primary function—open and close. It was a more invasive surgery than was anticipated, but the final product proves it was well worth the extra effort.
