One Dreamy Gate … Love It!

We’re so very thankful for word of mouth advertising! Mr. A … Remember him? He had the BIG gate … Mr. A’s daughter and son-in-law needed a gate for their beautiful new home and they honored us with the task.

Clouds covered the glaring sun for only the first half hour. After that, the Texas sun lit the sky. It was a beautiful day, though some more cloud cover would’ve been nice.

All in all, the installation went perfectly. Despite hitting some rebar in a few spots (no way to help that), we got the track mounted and the gate rolled across it as smooth as polished steel.

The low profile bow was not only the perfect look for this gate, it was much appreciated from a physical perspective, too. We used the manual bender for this one (we also used it for the patio gate). It took serious muscle to move that steel through the bender but it was worth it!

The “S” on their gate turned out even better than we dreamed. It is the perfect personal touch without being too flashy. Might have to do something to our own gate.

Grateful to our new friends and for the opportunity to add something special to their new home. And for feeding us lunch!
