Back for Seconds: The Big Gate Gets Cut
Grab your grinders, boys! We’re going to cut it in half. Take two on the big gate. Here’s why …
Mr. A has a problem.
Remember Mr. A? We built a 22’ gate frame for his driveway.
Unfortunately, for Mr. A, both his neighbors have slide gates, which means there is no room left for him to have a slide gate. His only option is a swing gate. We built him that swing gate—the steel frame only, he added the pickets himself—but now it’s too heavy for his swing motor.
We all were concerned this might happen, but Mr. A wanted to give it a shot. He’s a man with a dream!
Well, it didn’t work. Too much gate or too little motor, either way, we made it right for him.
Aaron spent the day cutting welding and remounting over at Mr. A’s house to turn his one 22’ gate into two impressive (and much lighter) 11’ gates. Mr. A can now swing his gates to his little heart’s content and we couldn’t be happier for him.
Moral of the story: If at first you don’t succeed, grab your grinder and make it work anyway!
Goes to show you that we aim to please! If you have a dream, we’re here to help. If that dream gets a little sideways and needs a fix, we’re still here to help!
