Custom metal letters, words, and signs are cut from 14-, 12- or 11-gauge steel and in your choice of finish—raw, clear coat, or painted flat black. These are the perfect addition to your home’s décor no matter if you’re personalizing your living space or adding something fun to your back patio, these metal letters, words, and signs are sure to please. 14-gauge is our thinnest steel and is approximately 5/64-inch thick.
12-gauge is our medium thickness and is approximately 7/64-inch thick.
11-gauge is our thickest steel and it is approximately 1/8-inch thick.
Raw Steel—Hand buffed to a beautiful shine with a light oil coating for protection from rust. This is a perfect choice if you want to paint it yourself or if you’d prefer the rustic look of naturally rusted steel. Simply wipe off the oil coating and allow nature to “paint” your steel with a gorgeous patina.
Clear Coat—Hand buffed to a beautiful shine and coated with a clear rust preventative paint to give it that amazing natural steel look while protecting it from rust and weather. This is a perfect choice if you want the natural raw steel look but don’t want it to rust.
Flat Black Paint—Hand buffed and painted flat black with a rust preventative paint that gives it a sophisticated look and protects the metal from rust and weather. This is a perfect choice if you are looking for a finished piece that fits in a rustic, minimalistic or modern motif.

Measurements are taken from top to bottom based on the largest letter with the smaller or lowercase letters being of proportional size. If ordering both upper and lowercase letters, the size will slightly vary depending on the letters selected.

We take pride in our work and strive for excellent quality. In some designs, bridges are required to keep certain parts of the letter or design in the cutout. These bridges are not always shown on our initial designs but I some cases are necessary. There is an option for floating letters, however, if no option is selected, we will use bridges to keep each letter as a single cut.
